Overview
Context
As a Graphic Design Intern at Botanik Tea & Herbs, a California-based e-commerce brand focused on young tea enthusiasts, I created digital and print marketing materials that supported product launches, social media campaigns, and brand storytelling.
Botanik is dedicated to redefining modern tea culture through premium, sustainably sourced teas and herbal blends, including matcha from an eco-conscious farm in Kagoshima, Japan. My work involved developing visually engaging content that communicated the brand’s emphasis on quality, health consciousness, and sustainability while appealing to a younger, design-conscious audience.
Single Origin Matcha Packaging
Redesigned the packaging for Botanik’s latest Single Origin Matcha, sourced from Shizuoku, Japan, to emphasize its premium quality and quick-brewing convenience. The design features a vibrant blend of pink and green tones in time for the spring release, while maintaining a modern, elevated aesthetic. To improve usability and accessibility, I incorporated a series of simple visual icons on the back of the package that clearly communicate brewing instructions, allowing customers to quickly understand preparation steps at a glance. The final packaging balances functionality, brand identity, and shelf appeal to create a memorable consumer experience.
