Overview

Context

Podqi is a venture-backed B2B SaaS startup that helps brands protect their intellectual property online using AI-powered brand protection software. The platform detects counterfeit listings, trademark infringement, impersonation, and unauthorized sellers across marketplaces, social media platforms, and websites, enabling legal and brand teams to identify and remove threats at scale.

My role

As a Product Marketing Intern, I help communicate these technical capabilities through clear, engaging visual storytelling. My role spans visual design, product marketing, and content strategy, where I develop scalable design systems, reusable marketing assets, email templates, and product launch materials to ensure a consistent brand experience across every touchpoint. Working closely with engineering, legal, sales, and growth teams, I conduct market and competitive research, support strategic partnerships with DTC brands and ecommerce communities, and translate technical product capabilities into clear, customer-focused stories through social media, case studies, and launch campaigns.

Email Marketing Templates

To better support different audiences across the customer journey, I developed a scalable newsletter system tailored to three distinct objectives: customer engagement, lead nurturing, and content distribution. Rather than repurposing the same content for everyone, I designed each newsletter around the information its audience valued most while maintaining a consistent visual identity and reusable layout system.

For existing customers, I created a feature update newsletter that combined product releases with industry news, customer spotlights, and educational resources to encourage ongoing product adoption.

For lost prospects, I shifted away from product promotion and developed a monthly thought leadership newsletter centered around a single industry theme, using current events, original analysis, and related case studies to position Podqi as a trusted authority in brand protection.

To increase visibility of our latest content, I also designed a concise digest that surfaced newly published blogs, case studies, and investigations in a quick, scannable format. Rather than functioning as a traditional newsletter, it served as a curated reading list that made it easy for customers and internal teams to stay current on industry developments and access relevant resources without searching across multiple channels.
